Nashville · Davidson & Williamson County
Nashville is a hard city to drive a sick animal across. The loop backs up at unpredictable hours, the neighborhoods we serve run from Belle Meade in the west to Inglewood in the northeast to Nolensville at the far southeast corner, and a clinic six miles away can still cost you forty minutes each direction. So we took the clinic off its foundation instead.
Genesis Mobile Vet is a complete practice that comes to you. The Ark is a purpose-built veterinary unit — a full exam room, a surgical suite, and a diagnostic lab — parked at your curb. Wellness visits, sick appointments, dental work, surgery, and end-of-life care all happen at your address. Nothing gets referred out simply because we came to you.
No carrier. No car ride. No lobby full of other people's animals.

Where we go

After hours
We are a scheduled practice, not a 24-hour emergency hospital. If your pet needs care right now and we are not on the road, go straight to an emergency hospital rather than waiting for an opening with us.
Nashville Veterinary Specialists on Fesslers Lane covers the middle of the city and the east side. VEG Franklin and BluePearl Franklin are the closer options once you are south of Old Hickory Boulevard. Specialist referrals go to Nashville Veterinary Specialists.
If you are not sure whether it can wait, call and ask. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.
Pricing
A visit is $184. That covers the exam and the house call, and it is the same number in every neighborhood we serve. No distance surcharge, no premium zip code. Each additional pet seen in the same visit is $85. At-home euthanasia is $495 all-in.
Membership plans start at $69 a month and waive exam fees entirely. See full pricing, or the whole service area.
Common questions
Davidson and Williamson County. In practice that means Green Hills, Belle Meade, Forest Hills, Oak Hill and East Nashville on the Davidson side, plus Brentwood, Franklin, Cool Springs, Nolensville and Thompson's Station on the Williamson side. Each of those has its own page with the local detail.
Yes. The Ark carries a full surgical suite with anesthesia monitoring, so spays, neuters, mass removals and dental extractions happen in your driveway rather than at a clinic. Your pet then recovers in your home instead of a kennel.
No. We see the whole household in one visit. Additional pets are $85 each rather than a second full appointment, which is usually the difference between a morning out and an hour at home.
Call and ask. Dense downtown blocks come down to whether we can legally park near your door, and that varies street by street rather than neighborhood by neighborhood.
